Pewter work has been the traditional art of Cornwall for several hundred years.

The dishes measure 83mm (31/4 inches) in diameter, and come in a smart navy blue presentation box.

The trinket boxes measure 55mm (21/4 inches) in diameter and come presentation boxed.

A Note about Modern Pewter
European Standard EN611 Pewter, which is all we carry at Celtic & More, CONTAINS NO LEAD. It is an alloy of mainly tin, with small additions of copper and antimony to add to its strength.



Inverurie Horses Dish

This Pictish carving of a high stepping horse is found on a stone in the Kirkyard at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire. It is also shown in side view.
